I often get enquiries regarding possible brand design and/or web design project. They would show me designs especially of websites loaded with music, flash effects and lots of large images. All these elements can not only slow down a website’s user response time but can be very search engine (NON)friendly. There are some basic things must be kept in mind while getting your website designed and built…..if you want to get the best out of it.
Search Engine Bots read recognise HTML code and H tags and ignore any Flash based code or design. If flash is something really necessary for your project then keep it to the minimum and combine the layout with HTML code as well.
Keep the images small in terms their weight (memory). They best be saved for the “web devices”.
